Tickets are currently on sale for $20 million each and each ticket gets you one week in space.

A one week trip to the ISS on a Russian Soyuz is believed to cost $20 million, but the actual cost is not public.

Virgin Galactic and Rocket Plane are both expecting to start suborbital flights in 2 or 3 years. You will get 5 minutes in space for $200,000.

As per the new today, for Joe Average, $50 milliion to be a passenger and an extra $15 million to do a space walk.

Personally they'd have to pay me to go.....at this stage, I think it should be left up to the 'professionals'.

Of course, 10, 15 or 20 years from now we'll probably be taking commercial tours just like you would on a cruise or those all inclusive packages to Europe! I wonder if the future will be anything like what was shown in the movie The Fifth Element with Bruce Willis? ;0)

Vigin Airlines just started taking reservations for a 2 hour flight in a suborbital ride that will run you $200,000.00 USF. The flight will make it's maiden voyage in 2009.

Well first of all, you have to know somthing about it. So add the cost for education (till college) and then you have to work for NASA then you go to space if you're good.

I think it's $20 million (that's what it costs to go up with the Russian cosmonauts)

I'm not sure... BUT... I have heard that it does cost the US tax payers $1 million to transport the shuddle from TX to FL. (if they have to land in TX due to weather or other problems)
