I'm trying to get my son on the Nuva Ring but we can't figure this thing out! How should he wear it? It's so big, does it go around the penis or what?

HAHAHAHAHA.

While it is primarily for use by women, there are 2 ways in which the Nuva Ring can be used as birth control for men.

1. Slip the nuva ring over the penis and slide to the base. Place a pen, pencil, or rod of some kind into the ring. Twist the rod. Repeat, cutting off circulation. Tighten as necessary daily until penis is removed, permanently.
2. Nuva Ring acts as a delivery system for estrogen. If you put several Nuva Rings on your son, enough estrogen will be delivered to his system that he will grow breasts. This will do one of two things. Either no women will want to have sex with him because he's a freak, or he will stay home and fondle his new breasts constantly, in which case he will also not be having sex with anyone...save for maybe himself.
Mission accomplished!

Good luck with that.

**I shouldn't have to state this, but because there are some people on here that are such complete idiots...
The above statements were made as parody/humor, as the question asked was a humorous question. Please do not start deforming your sons with steroids or tourniquets based on something that you read in Yahoo! Answers. If you do, you're an idiot and should be sterilized.
Thank you.

The Nuva ring is inserted into the vagina, not around the penis. Just enter "nuva ring" into Google or Yahoo! to learn all you want to know.

A woman MUST reinsert a new ring every 4 weeks to maintain protection from pregnancy. the nuva ring is inserted in the vagina so unless your son is a he/she he should just stick with a condom especially since nuvarings dont protect against std's

this is hilarious or what !!!
You are involved with our adult son in practicing birth control?
Is your son 8 years old?
If he is 16, is he challenged?
When you say we can't figure this thing out? I just can't picture it.
How should he wear it?
You mean it is much bigger than his penis .... in which case your son has e...... or not ????

oh my god this must be the Kaliyug - the age of darkness....

Somebody said that there is somekind of fear that because of the internet, the society will be divided in to two. The people who know and the people who do not know. I am now really scared.

the nuva ring is for women... WOW - you didn't know that? (or are you just stupid?) male birth control is a vasectomy... where as woman, obviously, have more choices.

The Ring is placed in the vagina where it releases synthetic female hormones, estrogen and progestin. Unless he has a vagina this is not for him!

Try putting it around his neck. He won't be getting anyone pregnant any time soon.
