does anyone know how to get record compaines listen to your recording?

ok i write and sing my own songs i am planing to record them and mail them to record compaines but they might not listen to them so how can i get them to listen to it

ya, go to www.myspace.com and open up an Artist account, and then send out hella friend requests. trust me, if ur good, ppl will soon will become familiar with u, i know this one band that gets almost all of their fans through myspace

The best way would probably be myspace.com since there have been so many successfull artists emerging from myspace.
