I racked up my credit card

Yahoo Answers. Seemed like a great idea----a place where people can exhange information, "share what you know" as it says on the banner. But it is so badly abused by people who think it's cute to ask stupid questions or "naughty" questions or try to chat when there are lots of other places to do that, that it is almost useless for its intended purpose. Almost.

running down the highway with four flashlights- two as headlights, two as taillights with red plastic over them- pretending to be a car. wow we were bored. then some drunken people in a truck chased us around in the ditch, got out and screamed profanities. A plan that was not thought out AT ALL. true story. just thought i'd share something a little silly to lighten the mood

well, you are ok now, right? so then what's the problem? everyone does things they 'shouldn't have' ...

'the present of things past is memory, the present of things present is sight, the present of things future is expectation'

it does, but at the same time, does not matter what you did in the past.. (1) you can not do anything to change it (2) learn from it instead of using it to justify your current placement in life (3) I would suggest asking God to forgive you... because it does matter to Him.

I have some of the same ones that you have, such as smoking, making friends with people I shouldn't have, buying things on impulse.

Oh, my...it almost sounded like a confessional. How about if I stick to "Dumb" stuff? One time, I heaped horseradish onto my baked potato, thinking it was sour cream...and took a huge mouthful at a "dignified" dinner...and then gasped so loud, everyone looked away from the speaker and stared at me.

I went to cut into a small boiled potato, and it was undercooked...and it flipped out from under my fork and rolled down a long banquet table filled with people...and they all stopped in mid-fork, while turning their heads in unison; as we watched it roll all the way down and off the table...just as a reporter snapped our picture...and the next day it was in the paper...and we all looked like idiots (and it made me very popular-cough-blush).

I once told a strange man who seemed to want to engage me in conversation, that I was just a working girl...and he became very animated...until I figured out what he thought I meant...and had to straighten him out on it...very firmly.

My family called eggs cooked over-easy "Dunkey Eggs" because we liked to dip our bread into the soft yolk...and when my teacher asked the class what our favorite breakfast was; I held up my hand...and everyone thought I said "Donkey Eggs"...and I just about never lived it down.

My son almost got my mother arrested because he had to go in her car and I was following from behind with my car loaded with kids for a field trip...and he was upset with me because I had him go with her...so he plastered his head in her rear car window, looking terrified while mouthing the words, "Help me, help me, help me" and an officer pulled her over...and we missed the chartered bus...and I had to explain to the kid's parents the reason we missed it.

Okay...that's enough for now. That was fun...thanks for asking.

Oh...and for all you philosophy buffs..."Laughter makes the world go 'round..."
