I was reading some reviews (not good BTW) and aparently the owner of an apartment complex finds "water nymph" in the pool. K, so what is that and why does it look like a chick? Aparently this man also has to help this nymph back to its world. What world would that be? If you have seen it or just know what a nymph is let me know.

A nymph is typically a female spirit associated with a location in nature. In early Greek mythology, nymphs were bound to different types of land (meadow nymphs, valley nymphs, etc.) as well as natural features (tree nymphs, water nymphs, etc.). In later mythology, Italian influence focused nymphs more to water and less to land and land-based features.

In defense of the people who wrote Lady in the Water, a dryad, or tree spirit, is a type of nymph in early Greek mythology.

water nymph is like a water fairy... that's the easiest way I can think to explain it. Just another term. I think that some nymphs are supposedly like protectors of whatever.. like water nymphs would protect water, like protect a river. I'm not sure on that one though

mythology, a nymph is any member of a large class of female nature entities, either bound to a particular location or landform or joining the retinue of a god or goddess. Nymphs were the frequent target of lusty satyrs.
