Not if it has dried. If you get it while it is still wet you can save your carpet. If you have a wet/dry vac, immediately drench that area with a bucket of hot water. Make the drenched area be larger than the stain. Suck all of the water out with your shop vac while someone else refills the bucket. Keep repeating until the stain is gone. I can't imagine that it would work once the paint has dried however I have never tried it. I was lucky enough to catch it wet

I have a couple things you can try, but depending on how long the stain has been sitting there I don't know how much good it will do.
Mix equal parts salt and baking soda, add several drops of white vinegar and enough water to make a paste. Check carpet for color fastness, then apply the paste to the stain and let it set. When it's dry, brush it away and hopefully the stain will go with it. For a particularly nasty stain (yours), scrub it when you apply the paste.
For a good emergency carpet-stain remover, try shaving cream. (scrub in, let dry, and vacuum.)
This particular recipe works for clothing, but I'm not sure how good it would do on a carpet: (check on a small-out of the way area first for colorfastness.) Mix 2 tablespoons ammonia and 1 tablespoon turpentine. Rub into the stain and rinse with warm water. (Chances are that for this to work on a carpet, you would have to rub this into the stain, then use a carpet steamer/vacuum to remove the liquid.)
I hope this helps in some way! Sounds like this could be a nasty mess!

Ring the manufacturers and ask them before you do anything! Absorb as much as you can while its wet. An old wool jumper works well on a wool carpet. Turps might work but test a bit of carpet you dont see first, say a bit under a chair that you'll never move. Good luck.

what kind of paint? Wall paint? Acrylic? Oil?
If it's wall paint I think not but im not sure.. because paint remover/thinner would probably ruin your carpet.
Ask someone at a store like Home Depot if it's wall paint.
Acrylic, yes. LOTS of water and scrubbing
oil - nope never sorry

Has the paint already dried? Resolve works well when the paint is still damp. If it is dry, the only thing i can suggest is rent a steam cleaner.

Depends what paint,if it,s gloss no chance, you will never totally get rid,if its emulsion it will be water based ,more water is the key.get hold of a vax or simalar which can extract it.if u cant get one you will have to do it with a cloth etc, remember to use water tho it will thin it out, good luck.

What sort of paint is it?
If it's emulsion lots and lots of water should do the trick. If it hasn't dried already, that is. If it has, then you probably won't be able to remove it, I'm afraid.
