Weren't you neodems (since you guys like to say neocons) crying about how much money Bush spends?

Didn't Clinton cut funding to these education programs to achieve his 'surplus'?

Isn't there STILL more funding to these programs under Bush than there was under Clinton?

Why are you neodems such hypocrites?

Let's stick to the facts. In fiscal year 2001 (Clinton's last budget), total spending by the federal government on elementary, secondary and vocational education was $26.0 billion. The figure has increased each year under Bush, and is expected to total $39.2 billion in 2006. That's an increase of 50.7%. Outlays for higher ed. went from $10.5 billion to $46.0 billion, a jump of 338%. Total spending on education, training, employment and social services increased from $63.6 billion to $114.2 billion.

Now for the last time, would people stop saying Bush cut spending on education!

What is the question? What does libs "crying" about Bush's spending have to do with Clinton cutting funding to achieve his surplus? And if there is more funding under Bush, how does that make us hypocrites?

If Clinton CUT funding, that means he spent less...

Please word your questions grammatically correctly and logically. I would like to answer if I could make sense of it.

I support his cuts in education funding.
We haven't gotten good value for the money we spend on education.
Teachers have gotten lazy and keep criticizing parents involvement in teaching kids so that teachers only have to test what parents teach and don't have to teach any more.
Teachers found a way not to work and they want more money.
I support the funding cuts it needs revamping all together.

Well, I wouldn't call myself a neodem or a democrat at all, but anyone who cuts funding on education needs to open their eyes. Or at least spend some time on Yahoo! Answers. It amazes me how poor grammar seems to be the norm.

Spend less money on war, more money on education. Worked for Japan after WWII, didn't it?

Shouldn't each president be judged individually?
What I think your trying to do is like comparing apples and oranges.
