First of all, with your 1st daughter, just change the bedding, spray a little lysol on the mattress (I like linen scent) and then flip it over (after its dried) & re make it. As for the shift changing, just try and make sure he has meals & quiet time, and daughter #2, put tape on the window/wall area, and let her do some trim, that way, when you go over it she wont be able to notice it.
As for you needing sleep, make a point of grabbing a cat nap (at least) in between everything, it'll work, I have had to do all the above!

Ok, use the steam cleaner on the bed, then spray down with fabris you can buy it at wal-mart.As far as your boyfriend goes....there are a couple ways of handling this. One he is a big boy,and that should be his problem , don't carry the weight of the world, you can't do it.Or what worked for me was my wife and I would have really good sex before I went to bed (that always makes a guy tired).now you might have to do this every night for a week or two.....but believe me it's worth it.
next, with the child and painting.....buy a big roll of plastic (home depot) cover the floor and let her use a roller. Or if you have some wood laying around and an old sheet you could make a square frame and stretch an old sheet over it ,staple it tight and wahla !presto chango you have a canvas for your Picasso.
Sorry I can't really help with the sleep I have a hard time with that myself...I think it's called being a parent.

You just need to put things in perspective. What is the most important to get done. My choice would be getting the smell out of her bed. - Neutralize vomit odor. Sprinkle Arm & Hammer Baking Soda generously to cover the stained area, let sit for an hour, then vacuum up. Make sure you and your daughter take a nap. If she is a tot find an old scrap of wood she can paint and put her in an out of the way place in the room your painting, Place protective floor covering, have her in clothes you can pitch out and let her paint the wood, while you paint the room. Or you can give her finger paints or water colors and do the same. but make sure you both have rest. Let your boyfriend handle himself he is a big boy, but marry him if your going to live with him and set a good example for your daughter

Sleep would seem to be the first place to start.
Your boyfriend needs to take care of the shift change, not you. It is not your problem.
Let your daughter paint the closet. It will not make much difference there.
Can't help you with the mattress problem, but I would suggest when you buy the new one, put a plastic matress protecter on it. It keeps the liquid from getting to the mattress, it can be wiped off, and worst case you have to replace a $12 plastic cover.
