I use a lock box. If you have nothing that stays locked, you might want to try maybe a pencil box or cigar box. Whatever you use, keep it in your sight or hands though. People WILL steal from it if given the oppertunity. My mother in law had that happen once- whole box disappeared with over $200 in it. I also take out big bills through out the day and keep those in my pants pocket. That way, they are accessible if needed for change, but not in with all the other money.

I used a box that my kids used at school to keep their pencils and stuff in. If the garage sale is all your own stuff I also just used a big clip to hold the cash and kept it in my pocket. My skirt had a big pouch pocket on the front. It was perfect.

Don't even bother, just wear something with Pockets, left side change, right side new money. People will be following you around the yard asking you questions, you will not be able to keep your eye on a money box/bag.

If you don't have oversized pockets use a large jar. I would keep it with me and not let it out of my sight. Or go to your local hardware store and get a carpenters nail pouch. Or try a fanny pack. Just wear it in the front.

Pockets that snap for currency--small bills on one side and large ones on the other. or an apron with deep pockets...A muffin tin for separating the changeand keep your eye on it...and cover it with something.

a tupperware container might work. just make sure you keep it with you at all times. There's also the oh so fashionable fanny pack.
