There are 1 billion galaxies in the Universe, that would mean 1 billion planets just like Earth. How exciting.

Well, considering that scientists believe there is roughly 15 billion galaxies in the universe, it would mean there is roughly 15 billion planets supporting or capable of supporting life. A lot more crowded than we think.

Jane-first it wasnt a big bang-if it was than every thing came from nothing-cause it got age-and it appeared out of no where-or God created it-ur too wonderfully made to be an accident or come alive by accident-see urself as the true princess with purpose ok and
be real-if God sent the Messiah as promised to Isaiah to our earth-and hung the stars in space for us to glorify him-why would he need more planets for people to live on-they could cause God can do anything -remember Isaiah 52 vs 13-53 vs12 to be exaulted but first marred more than any man-and to be the Messiah the annointed one-and to die as our sacrificial lamb-also Isaiah
promised a virgin would bring forth a sign=miracle and he would be God with us Immanuel-chapter 7 vs 14----ok -and thanks for your e mail-remember if we dont believe our Jewish bible-we are only Jewish by birth and not spiritually-Jeremiah said if we seek God with all our heart we will find him---u believe those that say do good and dont believe what the Jewish scriptures teach about atonement only by the blood sacrifice-and other things-be real-ur too precious to just believe people and not God and our Jewish prophets-ok ty david

Hi,
There will still be a lot of planets with life on them cause there are a ton of galaxies...
After big bang, then life evolved and keeps on evolving. On earth from nothing apart of gases and lightning (they say) or in other words from cells to everything else.

It's pretty far-fetched, but if it were the case, we'd likely never be able to contact them. The other galaixes are actually accelerating away from us, and eventually they will disappear entirely as they move away faster than the speed of light*. Even if they achieve radio communication in time, they are such a vast distance away from us as to make communication pointless. Probobly, as the sun is expanding, driving the last survivng humans into thier subterranean communities on Mars (the earth having long since been abandoned to heal itself of the horrible scars we left on it), we will be hearing thier very first radio broadcasts.
*Note that the galaxies themselves aren't actually moving, but rather, the space between us is expanding.

If so than indeed we would have a lot of "company"... depends on how much the life has evolved on the other planets... By the way there suposed to be bilions of galaxyies in our universe so... Maybe we will find one... and yet maybe we are the only one "alive" in the whole universe... scarry isn't it?...:D

Strange, cosmic even. I was just thinking about that very possibility. We have found no evidence of life in our galaxy yet. Of course we haven't exactly explored much of it yet either.
It would mean 2 things.
1) It is a lonely universe we live in.
2) THIS galaxy is ALL OURS! yeah!

It would make it highly unlikely that humans (here on Earth) would ever contact any extraterrestrial intelligence.
Other galaxys are too far away for us to reach. Our civilization here on Earth would be dust by the time we get to them!
Other than that, there is no significance.

Then there would still be about 400 billion planets with life out there.
