Eventually they will want them if you are considered to be a viable candidate. Some applications will require them upfront, so you'll have to get your college transcripts sent immediately. I would recommend getting a copy of your college transcripts and including it with your resume, application, and letter of interest. Only do this for known teaching positions for which you are qualified. If you are merely inquiring as to whether there are openings, I'd recommend calling the district first. No need to bother the principal... the school secretary knows all, and he or she will let you know about openings or possible openings later. Check the school district's websites... most post openings. Be sure to follow each school district's procedures... this is no time to wing it. If you can't follow their instructions for applying, they will doubt you will be able to follow district policies and procedures. You put yourself at a strong disadvantage by not following their guidelines.

The districts you apply to will tell you what info they need when you apply. It's very likely that they will ask for a certified copy of your transcript.

If you are a teacher, I am very afraid. I'll give you a pass on the districts typo, but not knowing the proper form of "too" is unforgivable. Proper sentence structure is important as well.
