I remember when Unsolved Mysteries first came out. The format was brand new, and there was a big uproar because people thought they were watching real crimes on television. The show had to put several big disclaimers before the show started so people would realize what they were seeing were reenactments.

You know they rarely ever "look" like the people they play other than being the same sex, race, maybe hair color and height. If you look at the pictures of the actual perps, then you would notice that the actors aren't really closely related in looks.

Hahaha.. that's a funny observation! However, I highly doubt the actors look all THAT much like the criminals they are playing in real life. I haven't seen that show in ages

convinced, i in my opinion recognize of a case. The actors names are often given to police so that they recognize, even if it really is amazingly elementary for individuals to telephone in telling the police that the criminal is the actor. interior the case of someone i knwo the police easily took them away!
