I think you can Burn it through DVD Shrink, (atleast that's what I been told) - You should be able to *back up* your *personal* copy on DVD-R, DVD-RW,etc

You can't covert the DVD into a CD, but you can transfer the music from the DVD to the CD, but you're going to have to watch the movie to do it. Get a blank CD and a CD player that records. Watch the movie, and pause it as soon as a song starts. Then rewind (or go back; I'm still stuck in the VHS mode!) to just before the song and hit PLAY. Then hit the record button on your CD recorder. It takes a while to get the hang of it, but you will soon. Do this for every song. You may be able to find a PC program to do it, I don't know.
TIP:
Most songs are at the beginning of scenes.

get a DVD ripper first.. go to LYRICSMANSION.COm and look at the side column..they offer different softwares to download..choose the DVD RIPPER...once you have ripped the DVD you can now transfer it to another DVD or CD or wherever...
