Culture would not exist at all without technology. Civilization resulted from ancient agricultural technology.

Regarding the internet in particular, yes, I think it exposing people to ideas and information they would not otherwise have had readily available. It makes it more difficult for governments to control the population via propoganda. It makes it more difficult for religions to do the same. It allows many people to live anywhere they want.

i think that technology has helped for the most part. it is an easier tool to use to gain some knowledge and to communicate with others compared to how back in the black and white days {tv}, when used properly. but like almost everything when used for the wrong purposes, it can be a tool for spying, deceiving, and pretty much ruin people's life {i know it might sound extreme but there has been many predators in cyberspace}!!!!

of course.our life became easier but on the other hand it also became too fast and stressful.
