Cook dinner, rent a flick, talk and and play hide and go seek with a black cat in the dark who has serious aggressive tendencies. When your just trying to get a soda. ha ha

It depends on where you are... obviously metropolitan choices are going to be different from suburb choices differerent from rural choices.

Suggestions:
Museums--esp if you're a student you can get cheaper rates
Read aloud to each other-- can be incredibly intriguing.
Local Theatre/Off Off Shows/Independent Film--more for the metro area but independent shows and films are previewing everywhere
Zoo/Botanical Gardens-- the animal themed/plant themed version of "a walk"--break out animal impressions
Cook together--it can get messy but it's fun! (cookies are good for this!)
Volunteer--find an opportunity to volunteer for a day together

Look up websites for free events in your area....if you live near a big city, there are usually free art exhibits, summer concerts, etc.

You could also take turns painting a picture, take some pictures of scenery, write down each other's favorite things.

Use your imagination and you can find many things to do.

On a nice day, go fly some kites. I'd imagine that would be fun. Also, you could go to a ballgame and sit in the nosebleed seats. Fun and cheap.

Get a kiddie pool and hang out in that with a couple of drinks.

Ask each other questions about any and every subject you can think of. Like "would you ever", "have you ever", "what would you do if", and "how was your childhood" type questions.
