I work with infants on their development, and your baby is within a normal range. The pulling up is about 2 months earlier than average, but still within a normal range.

My son is almost 7 months old and has been crawling since he was 5 months and pulling himslef up to stand when he was 6 months. He also got his 2 front bottom teeth at 5 months.
As I'm sure you've heard every baby develops at a different rate. And where they are early at one stage, they are late in developing in another. Or..you baby could just be Mensa bound just like mine! : ) Enjoy and have fun!

That really isnt early at all by my standards. My daugher had two teeth at 5 months and crawled at 61/2. She is 10 months old now, still not walking but REALLY close. No more teeth yet but I can see them coming in and she has been getting a rash (sure sign of teething).

I think 6-7 months is the normal age for crawling. My 5 month old has two teeth already and wants to stand all the time. I think everyone thinks their kid is a genius...hahah.

My son was ahead on everything he started teething at two months but I was born with two teeth so this wasn't that surprising. But he started pulling up on things at about 5 1/2 months and he was walking by himself by ten months. But on the other hand my nephew who is 6 months older than my son didn't do anything until he was like 6 months old. I believe in nurturing so if you are a very attentive mom and play with her she will advance in my opinion faster.

I would say she isn't really early at all. Both my kids crawled at that age and my oldest had 2 visible teeth at 10 weeks old.

My 1st daughter did everything early except walk. It's normal. She had her first two teeth at 5 months, then 2 more at eight months.

My daughter was late getting teeth, sitting up, walking, pretty much everything.

But now she is three and can already write her own name, read simple words, and people are amazed at her speaking ability.

Kids advance at their own time, but your child is starting pretty early. Cherish the before-walking age,b/c as soon as she can walk, you will never be able to rest!
