Out of sight. out of mind is an expression. Your question is vague. Not that you can answer back, but are you talking about a person or an object? You could even be speaking about a place. Be more specific if you really want an answer to your question.

even though it may be out of sight, it is never out of mind, because whatever caught your eye that you may of wanted or desired...... regardless of where it will always be on your mind with a big question mark

There is the opposite - desiring something just because it is in sight - that's why ads work so well.
Sometimes you can forget something when it's not right in front of you. Sometimes it doesn't matter where it is, hidden or not - that's when you should go for it.

No, out of sight is never out of mind. It just indicates the mindset of how things used to be. Back in the days, we didnt go to (or it was never really socially acceptable to be in it )or talked about problems or things that were bothering you. We were just taught to forget about it and it'd eventiually go away. Yea, right!

Yes, I do. If I want it, it is always on my mind, may be in the back of my mind, but it is there!

Yeah, but it helps. Helps alot if you arent around it and cannot see it. Keep yourself occupied until you get it or dont want it anymore
