i have seen the word discontiguous in several internetworking books, and yet not inteh dictionary, my co-workers and i need to know before our presentation,thanx

It means not connected or not touching.

It may be that the word has recently come into use in the networking world and has not yet made it into the dictionary.

I am not sure that it is truly a word, if it is then it means not contiguous or not running together or not connected as in a series.
