I would have to say the White Sox, they are the Champs, they have a terrific rotation that if gelling can not be match, and their top of the order is definitly in the top 5 while the have the best middle no argument. They have a great team, but the beauty in sports lies in the fact that the best doesn't always win, so who knows what will happen? then playing and roster wise the Tigers, Mets, Red Sox follow ....

look in the standings. of course the tigers are the best right now.and looking at the age of their pitchers the best team for the next few years.Verlander=23 Bonderman=24 Zumaya=21 Miner=24 Robertson=25 Rodney=26

The Detroit Tigers!
Just took 2 of 3 from the white sox.
Currently 64-31 FIVE AND A HALF GAMES ahead of the white sox.

After Detroit won the last series from the White Sox, I'd have to give it to the Tigers. Red Sox aren't far behind, though.

The best overall team: Detroit Tigers (I live in Detroit they my home dogs!)
Team that will have the best second half: Yankees
Best up and coming team: Braves (Im saying that cause John Smoltz is my moms friend!)
