Always report them. Hotmail has a report junk mail check box in there junk mail foldrer.
NEVER RESPOND to a junk mail. They will know its a real address and you will be flooded from then on.
Stop using your e-mail address and only tell the people you want your NEW e-mail address.
To keep from getting even more be VERY careful what you sign up for on the net. Even well known companies will share your address. Read Everything before signing up.
FYI: Bill Gates gets the most e-mail. Over 4-MILLION e-mails per DAY!!! It takes an entire staff to sort his.

I have been getitng alot of spam mail too on my yahoo account. I think yahoo has a major glitch somewhere. I used to not get alot.

you can enter yahoo MAIL options category and find a variety of options like
1) block addresses
2)filtering
using these and more, u can further strengthen your mailbox
