I think that confidence has a great deal to do with how you are perceived and how you see yourself. For instance, I had this friend...she was not the prettiest girl by any means, but she had confidence in herself that was out of this world! You could not tell her that she was not the finest girl walking...she would never had believed you!
Because of this, she had guys CRAWLING....they wanted to be a part of whatever that thing was that she possessed!
I on the other hand, was very shy, and couldn't talk to guys AT ALL! All I would ever have to do was send her over there to the guy I liked, and she would always come back with the number for me!
If you accept who you are...COMPLETELY...and love yourself dispite any flaws that you feel you have...others WILL NOTICE!
Have you ever seen a GORGEOUS guy with an average girl and wonder...."Wow, how did she do that?" She believed in herself...and she showed a brand of confidence that the other girls didn't. And that is how she got him.
There is no brand of makeup good enough, no shade of hair perfect enough to cover up what is on the inside of a person. Remember that "Pretty is as pretty does." You could be the most amazingly beautiful woman in the room, but if you open your mouth and nothing good comes out of it....how far do you think that will get you? Not too far.
Stay true to you, and let your guard down....allow yourself to love and embrace you for all of the good and even the bad things that make you....well...you! And everything else will fall in to place as it is supposed to. As long as you have confidence in you...others will too!
Good Luck!

It is unfortunately the norm of American society. However, the people that get to know the real you are the true value. The most beautiful woman in the world may be dull or really dumb and the plainest woman may be the most amazing. Don't hang around with superficial people if you can help it. Beauty is only skin deep but ugly goes to the bone is what my brothers used to say---I think that applies to fake attitudes too. Beauty is fleeting but your brain is your best asset so use it!

It's human nature.Since cavemen. It's not going to change. But we don't usually look at clothes or accesories or makeup. It's more in the persons physique.Clothes just help exhibit a persons physique.A persons features are suppose to be desirable. We don't even realize we look for certain things but in the back of our minds,we just can't help it.Try and tell a retarded man in a wheel chair who can not do much more than drool that you wish to be his wife and have his 13 kids.you would never do it.because he does not exhibit what the human genetic order desires.

That's what the media teaches us. It teaches us to be shallow. The pick "pretty" people to be actors and actresses so that people will be more likely to watch their show or movie which results in the general public thinking that it's normal to be so pretty, and they fall short of that, which leads to the never-ending pursuit of beauty.

Most people think this is the main thing in life. If you are dealing with the public, they think more sales come from someone that looks "gorgeous".

That's the most incorrect way of deciding on someone, only fools who believe in bodily attractions look at it this way.I feel that we must decide only on person's inner beauty.

So God created the man and said to Himself: This is perfect. And God made a copy of the man and called it a woman. So God said: HolyShit, this thing will HAVE to wear make-up!!!
