My parents home on the second floor is getting the wood torn apart from the squirrels trying to get in, what can they do to keep them away?

trap and move them MANY miles from your house

You can try spraying the area they're getting with a mixture of water and either Cayenne pepper or nicotine. I believe they don't like either of these and they will stop chewing on that area. Unfortunately, this has to be sprayed on every week or after a rain to remain effective, and could only drive them to another area of the house.

Spray the outside with some scary animal urine-small quantities will do,I believe you can get wolf or fox urine from pet stores and it'll scare them away with out hurting them.ktf.x

They're vicious where you're from...try feeding them. We had a problem with eating bird seed, so now there is stuff they prefer: dried corn, stuff like that.
Is it wrong to suggest a bb gun?
