We don't have to wash our bath towels after every use. Although you are clean after a shower, your skin still excretes oils, sloughs skin cells and you lose hairs. These all build up on the towel creating the need for laundering.

If We Clean Ourselves (Taking a bath) Because We Used Our Energy,
We Should Clean What We Use.
Even If Our Body Is Clean,

We may like to belive we are our most cleanest bu actually we are not, there are bacteria living on out skin( bacteria evolves faster so that they can do their part in our bodies renual and these bacteria are harmless they help the body thats why one should not use excessively antibacteriaL soap), plus we can never remove all the dead skin off of our bodies , hey're always dying!

When we dry off the towel is absorbing urea realeased from sweat, dead skin, and other waste secretions from our bodies!

True.

But, if you let your towel sit clumped up somewhere the chances for mold increase. And, if you don't have air conditioning in the heat of summer...you get a mildew like smell. And, who wants to wipe off with a mildew scented towel? I'd much rather have the scent of Tide.

But, that being said I wash my towels after two uses. And, hubby goes longer - he says he likes it broken in. I dunno. I always hang them on the towel rack to dry, or even over the edge of the tub. Somewhere they can air out nicely.

You use a towel to dry the water off of your body.. moisture can build into mold if you let it set to long.. and stink because of the dampness.. and besides that is just gross

The towel is wet and takes time to dry and breeds it's own germs after a while.

Damp towel = mold and mildew. Soap residue is inevitable.
Also it acts as an exfoliator.

To get rid of dead skin cells that your towel has just sloughed off of you while you were rubbing your body with it. (although, I personally use my towel twice before washing)
