Her Grandparents and father and sister speak both but more Cantonese.

If she grows up hearing and speaking in Cantonese, then it's definitely easier for her to learn that dialect. Otherwise, go for Mandarin. There are only 5 tones, whereas there are NINE in Cantonese.

If her grandparents speak Cantonese better, I would go with that. Its much easier to learn a language if you can talk with a native speaker often.

Mandarin-it will be the most spoken language in the world in a few years.
