I enjoy reading a wide variety of books, nothing too higbrow but I . I read popular fiction( usually chic lit) to relax but I do like something more callenging once in a while. Examples of Books I have enjoyed recently are:- Labyrinth , Life of Pi, The Time Travellers Wife, Birdsong

Why don't you try starting your own. My mom and I did 4 years ago and the group is still going strong. We meet once every 5 weeks on a Tuesday night at 7:00pm, and it is so much fun!
Start by asking people you know who might be interested in joining and from there, they can get people they know, etc. Ours went from a group of 5 women to a group that is now 10-12 ( you don't want to get much bigger than this, it gets hard!)

I have been looking for one that operates during the day time on Saturdays in the Bristol area.
