the US had the sympathy and compassion of the whole world?

the US had the opportunity to be the greatest nation ever for just one moment. Now we are among the most detested.

Yes, we are ASHAMED to be Americans in this dark part of our history. We can only apologize, and the first step to making reparations to humankind is to impeach, trial, and incarcerate Bush, Cheney, Frist, Rumsfeld, Rice, Rodriguez, and Snow (this one just for kicks) for life.

You're living in your own sick little fantasy world. The U.S. was hated before and after 9/11/01. And we don't owe squat to the rest of the world; it's time for us to collect on all the free money and military protection that we've given out over the past 200 years.

Please, stop associating Haliburton with Bush. It should more closely be associated with Cheney. But Haliburton has nothing to do with your question so leave it out!

But yes, I remember when the whole world looked at America and shed a tear and a helping hand. Now, they turn their backs on us. We're the tough, hard-headed younger brother. Other nations refuse to support our ways and our cause. All we seek is peace, freedom, and democracy. And yes, for all of you liberals, we need the oil too.

Do you remember when the rest of the world (UN) sold us out for by taking bribes in the oil for food campaign with Saddam? America should lead the world, because many of them do not have the backbone to do what's needed. Isn't it convenient that we now have bases to the East (Afghanistan) and the West (Iraq) of Iran. Iran has always been the biggest threat over their and now we are in good position to put pressure on them.

We start our reparations for the dark damage that man has caused throughout the world by impeaching him for his lies and deceit. Our children will not be safe until we show the rest of the world we will demand accountability for the horrid deaths of innocents in Iraq.

This whole situation is completly FUBAR. ( fu*ked up beyond all recognition). I don't know that anything can be done. It sucks, but I think that our days as a superpower are very numbered.
