The excellent essay is contained in a new book: American Movie Critics but I wanted to share it with others but scanning it in isn't resulting in anything readable

I thought for sure that it would be available someplace on the net, but I doubt it is and I ;looked in lots of nooks and crannies. Interest in Tolson has been lacking, probably because of his unique writing style.
Thanks for pointing out where I can read the essay in any case.
