What is turtle conditioner they are suposted to have it at walmart and pet smart but i did not see it. and i do not even know what it is.

It adds calcium and minerals to the water. It is basically a waste of money.

You're thinking of 1 of 2 different things. There's a water conditioner that removes chlorine, helps break down waste, keeps the shell healthy etc... Good stuff to have, especially if you use tap water. The other stuff is a shell conditioner that you apply directly to the turtle's shell, it's just a vitamin enriched cream that is supposed to keep the shell healthier. Not sure if that stuff really does any good but it can't hurt.

I use this product on my car called Turtle Wax that's supposed to condition the paint and give it a really nice shine.... You should try some on your pet turtle and see what happens.

It's something you add to the turtle tank to release calcium that helps them with their nutrient intake and soft shell. Try this website..

I use AquaSafe for my turtles. It neutralizes toxins and chlorine, and makes tap water safe for turtles. They really need it and can die without it, if you put them in regular tap water.
