Your question could be put under the light of another question, why should we care about damaging the house where we live in, the yard and lawn, and not care about temperature or ventilation in the house??? Well, there are lots of people who do just that they live in dumps mainly because they do not care to waste any time, energy or resourse to live in a better place, their children of course grow up in a dump with all the consequences of that upbringing, and so on and so forth. It's just a matter of perspective, philosophy of life, and legacy of upbringing. You are happy living in a dump, wish everything were a dump and hope your children in the future have dumps? It's a personal choice, you made yours.
