it just means play to win. play the game the way it is supposed to be played, but in the end someone's gonna win, someone's gonna lose.

but guess what it's not the end of the world. there's another 161 games left in the season. if you just play the scoreboard takes care of itself

It's their way of trying to get kids to believe in the values of hard play and sportsmanship, but most of us know it's not really true.

Vince Lombardi was a lot closer to the mark with his comments about winning.
