i'd know one variety from baguio city of the northern philippines and they called it everlasting. looks like a sunflower with a hard miniature petals that last longer compared to other flowers, also looks like artificial(plastic)when dried up.

mmmm everlasting flowers look very dusty, and are occasionally covered in cobwebs....another thing to consider is could you stand to look at the same arrangement every day for the rest of your life?????

do you mean artificail flowers or dried flowers?
some types of flower are self drying and are papery when cut
