What kind of network cable do i need to connect my XBOX to the network?

I remember hearing once that it takes a special kind of network cable?

I checked it out on the web... you need a cat 5 CROSSOVER cable

If you are hooking it to your router then any ethernet cable that is not a crossover cable will work.

If you are connecting it to a computer that you are using as a network bridge then you have to use a crossover cable.

Looking at mine it just needs a normal CAT 5 network cable.
