It happens to all of us at some point. When it happens admit the mistake, apologize and ask how you can correct it. If it's happening often ask for help from your boss. If it's a problem that continues maybe it just isn't the right job for you.

Not very often, but when I do, its always a doozy. I always admit it though. Nothing worse than someone who makes a mistake and won't just come clean about it.

I dont but this person I work with likes to blame her mistakes on me quite frequently. She couldnt possibly have lost the paperwork so I must have. She can shove it.
