I took the imaginary local number 4483552. Kathmandu has seven digit local number. The area code of Kathmandu is 1.

try 00977-1-seven digit number (1 is the code for Kathmandu)
if this still won't work, try calling the local telephone company's helpdesk operator. that's the easiest way.

forget about the first two 0
To dial internationally form nepal you have to dial 00 thats why they put 00 infront of the telephone number...
