If there is a jewish race that is decended from the ancient Hebrews then should'ent they look middle-eastern. Mabey then its not a race. Perhaps its a religion. Why do some jews say its a race and others say its a religion. Can't you guys get it straight. Mabey all this race stuff is Political. Mabey its to justfiy the state of Israel.

It used to be a religion. Now with the state of Israel people need to justify the state of Israel so they now say being a Jew is a race. I once met a woman from the soviet union. She was a Jew and she was telling me about all the terrible things the Russians did to Jews. She told me " they consider it a race, can you imagine that". This was from someone coming out of an oppressive country complaining that they think Jews are a race. I'm not sure what to think ?

Cause they have no right living there and America should stop supporting that hole in the desert before we get nuked by some extremists. Isreal does not belong to the Jews if you look at the history they have no right to be there. People lived there before they got there and England and America just took land from the Palesitniens. I am white and have a lot of Jewish friends but u can't argue with facts. Yeah thousands of years ago it was theirs but move on plus their is hardly arable land a real Jew knows the only good relastate is in America!

To be quite honest with you I have nothing against the "Jews", being that I'm a "Christian", because, they do practice the "Old testament" however the "Jews for Jesus", are definately picking-up on the fact, that Jesus was a Jew, and many of them are "Converting" over, sorry to "Pop" your bubble, but my mom lives right next door to one... And I love the fact that they are very giving people, contrary, to what the rest of the world thinks of them as being "Tight" with their money...But, their just very careful with how they spend it, wisely, is a very admirable way of spending ...I think they dress differently, because, oh maybe, they want to stand-out, and maybe its because, those are the ones who dont believe in "Jesus" in which he did indeed dress in the "full" garments, as well. who knows? My kids babysitter, growing up was "Jewish-Catholic",, raised-up, "Jewish", but she was thee most caring, devoted, trustworthy, person, I've ever met, in my life....I wish to this day, we would have stayed in touch. She was a very kind soul.. Miss you "Rosey", if your reading this......

Israel is a country where not everyone in it is jewish.
Being jewish is a religion not a race.
And it appears that the only ones who can't get this straight is "you guys".

Because those that are in Israel now are probably not decedents from the ancient Hebrews. They are European Jews that fled to Israel after the Holocaust.

Jews were originally just one group of Arabs who hated all the other groups. It is a race, as God told them (ahem) that they were the chosen people, consequently you can't just CONVERT to Judaism, you have to have Jewish ancestry. In that respect it is more like a race than other religions.
Nowadays Israel is largely populated by people who interbred with lighter skinned races.

Many of them looks the same like Arabs and it's the same race like Arabs, Abraham (when you read the bible) is the father of Jewish and Arabs. In any nation you have different color of skin or hair, this is genetic from family to family.
