The hardest puzzle I did took me close to 15 months to complete. The puzzle had exactly 10,000 pieces and was a sky-shot view of trees, mountains, and rivers.

There is this one that is printed on both sides. It is cut in such a way that you can not tell the back from the front and the pictures are turned 90 degrees from each other. The picture is of dalmations and it is the same picture on both sides, except that it is turned. Don't remember how many pieces though.

The hardest puzzle I ever did was the "Black Hole of Calcutta", a 500-piece circular puzzle that was complately black.

Probably the Wasjig ones, where the picture on the box isn't what you have to make, its just a clue as to what the person standing there can see!

years ago, i did a sherlock holmes jigsaw with my nan. all it had as a guide was 5 small circles on the lid depicting parts of the picture. it had 1,000 pieces. we took a photo of it when we completed it !
