GM. Specific problem: downsizing employees in an attempt to cut costs and save the company.
Walmart. Specific problem: health care costs for low paid employees. In their efforts to be the lowest cost retailer, they must keep benefits costs down, which forces employees to have state provided health care. States are furious that they have to foot the bill for this HR practice. What is the possible solution?
