Maybe your husband got himself fixed. He is so much older than you I bet he does not want kids. He just wants a young wife.

Don't worry it will happen. It seems like when you try, it takes forever, but if you're not trying, it'll happen very quickly. And if it does take awhile, just think of all the fun you get to have while trying! No, seriously, if you are really concerned ask your doctor about testing you and your husband. Was your period irregular before you started trying? If not you may have had a misscarage and not even realized if you were only a few day pregnant. Don't get dicouraged though, if somethings wrong, there is usually a way to fix it or a way around it. GL!

Try tracking your cycle for 3 consecutive months and day 15 is when you ovulate so days to be intimate are days 14, 15 and 16 of your cycle. I am also trying to get pregnant. I had a fertility work up and I have one structural problem and 1 medical disorder. The 2 together are making it more challenging, yet I am prayerful that I will be pregnat this year. We have been married for 2 years and I am 32.

Probably when you stop worrying so much. If your periods are irregular, that doesn't mean you won't get pregnant, just that it's just a little harder to hit which times you're ovulating. If you've been trying for 9 months, and you only have a period every 2-3 months, that only means you've missed the window about 3-4 times. Just keep trying. You're young, and you have plenty of time.

I have read that it usually takes couples 3 - 6 months to conceive and they say not to worry about it until it has been a year or more...
If you guys drink or smoke you hsould cut back and try to get healthy, that might make a difference... If you have irregular periods you should get checked out.... things like endometritis can cause infertility if left untreated... and if you are having trouble with one ovary that will cut down your chances of getting pegnant in half so it might take that much longer, you know???

If you have been to the doctor and there is no physical reason for you not being able to have a baby. What you need to do is relax and try to be as stress free as possible. You are young and time is on your side. So let nature take it's course,
As the saying goes anything worth having is worth waiting for.
Good Luck

Have you gone to a fertility docotor? or you can buy an ovulation test which is much like a pregnancy test but it test your hormones to see if you are ovulating. Or you can take your temperature everyday at the same time and on the day that you ovulate your temp will generally rise 2-3 degrees

I cant tell you when but i can tell you, your not alone. Im 27, been engaged 3 times... never married cuz each time we tried to have kids... nothin'. Sometimes your body is tryin to tell you something. I mean i want kids like nothing great in the world but how do i know me or my baby will be safe for the terms and labor of the pregnancy. Its painful and frustrationg but try to live for happiness and not force nature.

~Good luck.

This is usual. Try harder. If it still does work out, consult a gynaecologist. Now techniques are available that a sperm can be planted in an egg and you can become pregnant. (Test Tube baby). Consult an experienced gynaecologist. Good Luck.
