certain images do not show on my new computer, yet on my other older computer,they all show up

I need more info, of course but I can give you some suggestions. Chances are, your image viewing software is different. If it's not, the options are still the default settings. Chances are, the settings are such that it is only viewing certain files of type. Images are either .jpg or .bmp or .gif some programs will only show you or read .jpg. They are all still there but you'll need to look around for viewing options and see if it's limiting you to certain file types.

I would guess it is the file format of the image. PC's have trouble with some. Macs are usually more able to display a multitude of image formats.

May be you do not have a software that helps you display the pics. Go to www.kodak.com and get the KODAK EASYSHARE software. Its good.
Or may be the there is no compatible program for the extension of the pics

what is the file extention of the image file?

check to make sure you have the same software on your new pc as you have on your old pc
