sadly because not everyone believes in God, if a person says God has been talking to them they are mental, hearing voices, it's sad!

Yes, very good question. No one seems to mind if Pat Robertson prays for people, but when he says he hears from God they think he's a nut case.

because everyone in society doesn't believe in God, so they figure if you are talking to a "higher power" and you are not high, then you must be crazy. that is there way of keeping separate church and state.
