It is written in the rule book that the female can only apply mascara while their mouth is open. Have you ever tried to do it with your mouth closed?? Mascara on the eyeball is not a good look!! Has anyone tried to apply with their non-dominant hand? Think clown...

Actually, maybe i'm just odd, but I've always put my mascara on w/ my mouth closed. It seems that most women have to focus to close their mouths to put it on, but I have to focus to open it if I wanted, but why would I want to do that?
So...not all women open their mouth to put on mascara.

when i do try to keep my mouth closed, i usually end up w/mascara all over my face! opened mouth is the only way to do it! haha!

With some women, opening the eyes further makes their mouths open further. It's beyond their control

Because we have to hold our eyes open as far as we can... when we are consentrating on open eyes, open lips just follow suite. I can put on mascara with my mouth shut, but there just isn't any reason to force oneself to do so. Best wishes

funny. it can be done w/ eyes closed but opening your eyes wide enough to do the mascara somehow causes your mouth to drop open.

I've tried it and I can keep me mouth closed. It just happens, you don't even think 'bout it!

if you don't hold your mouth right it just doesn't turn out the same.
this is crazy i dont understand but i think it makes it easier for us.
Have you ever worn mascara maybe you should try it and let us know if there is a better way.....pretty please

Because when you open your mouth it steadies the eye muscles.
(I don't know why but it does.)
Your body does this instinctively.
Go figure!
