Being a responsible mature adult menas doing things you don't want to. You gave your two week's notice, and that is a professional courtesy and contract to work until those two weeks are up. If you wanted to give a shorter notice, you should have. You've made a commitment, have the courage to see it through.

Why dont you just call in sick? Scream or shout for awhile until your voice is hoarse then call in and you will sound sick.
