Great. Give her an unusual name so that when she goes to school ALL of the kids with normal names can make fun of her every single day of her life.

Unusual name might be interesting for you, but a total nightmare for her. Try thinking about your daughter instead of yourself!!

For a more unusual name try Conseulo (con-sway-lo) or maybe Destiny. Some of the older names less used are also becoming fshionable again like Daisy or Millie. You could go for a more common name and alter the spelling like Kristine or Natasia. Good Luck choosing the name you want and hope this gives you some ideas at least

First off, to the person that commented before, I have never heard of someone hating their name because it is different. However, I have heard of people hating their name because everyone has it.

Now, on to the names. My family is famous for our odd names. I like the name Aunika. My cousin is named Mercedes (like the car but we call her Saydee). I have another cousin named Marquee (Mark-ee). A sister named Hilary (people have heard of it but not many people are named it). Cheyenne (Shy-Ann), Meghan (same thing as Hilary), Haley (Hey-Lee), Annelyse (Anna-Lease), and Reagan are some other unique ones. I don't know if that helped, but I hope so! Congradulations and Good Luck!

If you want something "unusual" in this day and age, try giving her a traditional name. That way there won't be 6 Jaquintas in her class and as an added benefit, everybody (well most everybody) knows how to spell Elizabeth, or April, etcetera.

Hey, there's one, name her 'Etcetera'
lol.

Please keep "unusual" to unique, not odd, weird, or hard to spell. You are naming a woman, not just a baby.

A classic woman's name is never a mistake. a long, extra syllables, odd spellings or multiple pronounciations just make life embarassing for a school age child, and frustrating for an adult.

Look through literature for heroines, or find out your great aunts and great grandmother's names.

My niece is named Michaela (pronouced Ma-kay-la), because my brother is Michael.

spend time searching the web for women of character, not just popular names.

have a wonderful time naming your gift!

Bernard... though be prepared for her to be confused later in life. Seriously, why not check out the many websites for name searches. Sure if u Google it (or should say Yahoo it in here I suppose) you will find a baby names site. Good luck with the baby, take care.
