If you are just referring the movie "The Village", I would have to say the most romantic part was when the blind lady went thru the woods to save the man she loves.

It's nice, but there are better. Either the scene in Sense and Sensabiltiy where the guy (Hugh Grant) tells Emma thompson that he's not married and then he purposes to her. Or the scene from Paheli where Lachchi grabs the ghost's arm and tells him how can she turn away the one that wants to be with her after she couldn't stop the other one from going away. So great.
I just read the other responses and I have to agree with the first guy that the ghost and Mrs. Muir was really sweet when he takes her hand and leads the ghost out of her body.

Most romantic scene ever: The very end of Fight Club. Building exploding, he's just shot himself in the face, turns to the woman and grabs her hand: "You've met me at a very strange time in my life..." Cue "Where Is My Mind?" by the Pixies. If you've never REALLY been in love, you wouldn't understand this...

No. It's cute but that's about it.
There are some very intensely romantic scenes in Bram Stoker's, "Dracula."
Also, American Beauty (between Kevin Spacey and the young girl).
If you want to go for erotic and extremely disturbing (perhaps offensive even?) try, "Boxing Helena."

Nope when Liv Tyler sees Ben Afleck come back from blowin up a meteorite is the best b/c that's exactly how I felt when my hubbie came back from Iraq. Best all time kiss is The Notebook when it's starting to rain.

Believe it or not, I find the film 50 First Dates with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore very romantic.
What he goes through (because he is in love with her) borders on unbelievable.
