Well, from reading you bio, I think you are just looking for fun answers or trying to see what all some people will write.
If this is the truth though, I don't think you being gay or straight has anything to do with why you're mom won't talk to you anymore. I'm sure there is something deeper..either with her or you.
My theory on situations is that there are 3 sides to every story. The first would be yours, the second would be hers and the third would be the truth.
Unfortunately, no one can turn on and off being straight or gay, so I think that is a question that can't be answered.
Talk with your mom and figure out what is going on between you both. Don't wait. Life is short and not one day is guaranteed. You can't return yesterday to live it over again.
Good luck

if u r straight how did she ever come to believe that u r gay, and moms will love u no matter what, she probably just upset that u misled her in the first place, or maybe alot of people thought u were gay and so she had to deal with the stress of people talking down about it and now u tell her that hey i am straight. that would be frustrating for me.
i am a mom of 2 boys, love them to death and will no matter how things are with them.
ask your mom how she feels and explain to her that u feel alienated, she may surprise u. just have a heart to heart. be honest about every thing, and let her know that u love her. that is important.
mom's just want to know that they have raised u right, cause they work pretty darn hard trying to do so.

Why does she want a gay child so badly? Why can she not love you the way you are?
I'm sorry, I don't everything that has gone in your lives so I don't feel that I can make a fair comment on the situation, but that seems odd...
Give her time, she should come around.
oh, an afterthought...Why is your life about pleasing your mom? Do what makes you happy!

Why would you being straight be such an issue to her? I think there's more involved here than whether you're straight or not. I would sit down & have a talk with her. And if she won't then I would find someone else you trust who might be able to get through to her. Good luck.

You should not have to "turn gay" to have your mother's love...she loves you just the way you are. Evidently she is going through something that does not have anything to do with you and she needs to talk to a counselor. Just go on with life and pray for her and she will come around.

What????? You can't just turn gay. That's absolutely ridiculous. If she doesn't "love" you because you like women, that's her problem. You have to be with who you want. It sounds like you need to break all ties with your mom.....as hard as that may seem. She's not talking to you anyway. It's YOUR life....you do what you want with it.

Are you serious? that is the most stupid thing i have ever heard in my life. If she don't love you because you are straight then you can just forget about her. you don't need to change who you are because of what others say and want you to be. So just be who you want to be.

Really. Your mother loves you more that you are gay? Dang she is messed up. Stay straight, and tell her to get over herself if she ever wants grandchildren

she does love you. What made her think you were gay in the first place?
tell her to get a grip of herself. At least you'll give her grandchildren when you're ready!

There is no reason to change who you are to make someone else happy even your mother. She still loves you and you shouldnt let what she thinks bother you.
