All houses don't have bedrooms upstairs. I've lived in several that were all on one level. Maybe in countries where it's cold, or where there isn't a lot of land to spare, they build them that way. I think it's good to have a warm bedroom, but maybe in the summer you need air-conditioning.

My house is an upside down house my bedrooms are downstairs and ,my living room is upstairs but when you come to my house you go up a flight of stairs

Yeah, it sucks for houses in hot climates, but people who live in cold climates love it. Plus, the downstairs rooms are typically used for "group" spaces, living rooms, dinning rooms, dens, etc. Have you ever thought how hard it would be to have a kitchen upstairs?

That's also why we have an attic, but the reason is it allows us to stay warm during the winter and avoid floods during spring. Don't be so picky during the summer for its like the one season it doesn't help.
