Yes you could try walking across the floor on your butt while in the sitting position legs out front.
Or while in bed lying on your back tighten one butt muscle then the other LRLRLR and continue one side to the next, you can do this to music as well, something with a good beat. also you will go to sleep. but your partner will prob complain.

this is a great exercise for your butt, it will kill at first but eventually your muscles (gluts) will get used to it. Lay on the floor (on a rug or mat) on your side, in a perfect line, support, your head, suck tummy in. lift both legs and bring forward so that you are now in an L shape, tummy still in. With foot flexed (not pointed) raise and lower the top leg for 20, not too high, about a foot and a half, then count, hold leg at top of position and 'pulse' for 8 then repeat 3 times (if your muscle can bear it) never let the top leg drop to rest on the bottom leg. Eventually when you get better combine with a slow kick forward, as if you are kicking an invisible ball, count 8 and then go back to lifting the leg. Then turn over, if it does not hurt by the end of the first set check your body postion, it has to be L shaped. You should feel incredible pain and burning in your glut but you soon get used to it fo persevere. Here's to your new bum!!!

I had this problem too, but step arobics fixed it. Purchase the dvd or video entitled The Firm Tough Tape 2, I worked out everyday (except weekends) for only 30 min. of the tape and my jeans fit better, and everyone was complimenting me and I felt better about my body, but alas I fell off the exercise wagon and can't seem to get back on. But if you try the tape and stick with it, I promise it will shape you up.

running with weight, rowing. I dont really agree with the whole squats thing as 1. You'll get chunky thighs, and 2 they are terrible for back and knees

Basically any exercise that uses your **** - but 5 mins here and there wont work - long runs ie 1 hour plus, ideally with weight (start off with a small amount and build it up gradually) should work wonders..

Hard work - but the results should come - and you'll get fitter

Do exercises that focus on the Glutimus maximus. Leg presses I think.

Climb some hills.

Wear Jeans with low back pockets, they'll accentuate the curve on your butt.
