philosophy is a vision towards life which defers from soul to soul..........and it's not possible to make it as a profession.....because it's a vision......it's not something which can be learned and mastered, it's about mastering the spaces of circumstances with ur uneffective mind.
Every professional(in his field ) is a philosopher.Every philosopher is a professional......so don't consider it as a profession....study it to know hidden dimensions of life....and ultimately enjoy it......... i once again repeat..it's not a profession to take...but it's a concept to know.....so make it ur profession to "know".....don't make it a profession to "study" and score "marks"........

Philosophy is not a profession, we all already think philosophically all the time. You do not need a degree in philosophy to be a philosopher. Just to give you an idea, every senstence we construct is philosophic.

You'll do that regardless of what else you do. Philosophy and its evolution throughout your life is inescapable.

Given that, I recommend doing that which pleases you and makes an acceptable living.
