Richard is a good strong name; go for it. But do not allow nicknames, that can be ruinous; insist on Richard only.

It depends on the guy, but a Richard sounds like an elegant man, u no all manners'n stuff......or if it's richy then it's like all street cool like.but over all it's a nice name!

Never liked it..Rich is ok, even Richie is cute...but noone wants to be called a ****! Or be associated with one.
