This is a scam. Send this email to the US Attorney General's office. I also got one. First of all to win a lottery you have to play it. Did you play while you were in South Africa? Were you EVER in South Africa. Never trust anyone on the internet saying you won money. If they need to find you they will by mail or in person.

I hope you did not send any money to these people. This is one of the oldest scams on the books. Just send me a small sum of money and I will send you a larger sum. What happens in reality is people send the smaller sum and the scammer keeps all the money. Try to contact the scammer and they will have moved on once they have enough money and start scamming all over again. Please don't fall for these fake lottery, inheritance or government pay out scams. The only thing they accomplish is taking advantage of unsuspecting people and stealing their money! need more info on these types of scams? Contact the US Postmaster general's office as these scams have existed for a long time, before there was email. Back then, they used regular mail!

NO, NO, NO.

Here's some criteria to judge if it is a scam:

Is it too good to be true?
Does it ask you to provide personal information?
Does it ask you to send money?
Did you enter the contest?
Do you get something for nothing or almost nothing?

Unfortunately, you since you've opened this email you will probably receive many, many more along the same lines.

STAY CLEAR!

DON'T give them ANYTHING.. Take a little trip to the place.. you don't need an agent if you go there. Hire your own attorney, go there, and see what the deal is.. BUT.. I'm telling you.. the guy is going to take your 1050$ and RUN AWAY WITH IT>
